Every day requires it’s own brave. Just like you can’t take yesterday’s strength and borrow it for today, you can’t be brave for tomorrow either. Sometimes if we pick up our heads and look around though, we can borrow a little bit of someone else’s brave and make it our own.
I’ll be sharing stories of how my brave doesn’t look like it used to and how all the brave I could muster up from the past slipped through my fingers, forcing me to surrender and uncover a more quiet and hopeful brave.
I hope for this challenge, maybe if your short on your own brave, you can borrow some, pick your head up and know you are so valued and can take the next step. I’ll be honest though, even as I started thinking about the challenge, I didn’t think I had the courage to do it. Then I read what Crystal Stine shared on the #write31days site that “This is about accepting a challenge. This is about falling back in love with writing. This is about being afraid and saying yes anyways. This is about encouraging others with something you’ve been through or taking that first step into something new”.
And so here I am.
I’d love for you to join me. You can subscribe here and the posts will be quietly delivered daily into your inbox.
I would also encourage you to visit the #write31days page to see all the other brave ones sharing in October.
